Backed by Professional Grooming Knowledge and Experience

Woofer Wares has been actively involved in the grooming and pet industry since 1998. While operating and managing our own grooming salon (and retail shop), we realised how difficult it was to source many of the grooming products needed for running the salon. Products were not only difficult to find but needed to be purchased from so many different suppliers. This lead to time wasted, high freight expenses, and frustration when products were required. We realised that this was a real problem for groomers so we developed a specialised wholesale business to meet the needs of professional groomers. We now have a comprehensive range of grooming products to offer all grooming businesses from one person operations to large salons - and all from the one supplier. Our range of grooming products and supplies is also available to other businesses and retailers in the pet industry.

Our past experience as professional groomers, prior to becoming wholesalers, is paramount to understanding what our customers require. We understand how grooming businesses operate and have experienced the trials and tribulations together with the problems and frustrations.

Woofer Wares Award

Winner of the 2000 Australian Achiever Award for Melbourne’s Animal and Pet Services and Supplies Category.

‘Woofer Wares’ achieved a 99.79% score for Customer Service and Relations, topping all other Melbourne Animal and Pet Services and Supplies businesses.

The award system focuses on the grass roots of community services and is designed to allow local small businesses to legitimately prove their true dedication to customer service in an award procedure which gives recognition to businesses within their own field of endeavour. These businesses that put greater effort into customer service should be congratulated. They are worthy of high consideration from the public when customer service is regarded as an important value in business relationships

PIAA is a national association dedicated to the protection and promotion of the Pet Industry. PIAA represents the interests of the trade at all levels - retailers, wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, pet groomers, boarding kennels, importers, exporters, livestock dealers and associated businesses.
